The season 3 retribution set has been changed. We're removing the Armor Penetration and Spell Damage that was being added to season 3, and moving those stat points into Strength. Those changes should be visible in an upcoming PTR build.

Yeah, it does... for you Paladins who are ret mainly out there.
Mean while, I can't find or think or even know a "valid" reason for me to come back to this game.
I have nothing to do back there.
I don't know about you but to me this feels more as if Blizzard wins. You came back, many other people will come back, Blizzard get more subscribers. I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be a bait and switch tactic. Either way, the lack of meaningful PvP and a set game focus (i.e. not the mosh that WoW has become) is enough to keep me away from it.
The changes are good, and certainly in the right direction, but we've all seen Blizzard give and take on a whim, and while I am pleased to have more Stamina for tanking and better gear options, I know that it either won't last, or will be the price of some other sacrifice in the near future.
Only the next patch will tell if these changes are for real, or just another carrot dangled before us. The fact that we know Blizzard is simply luring us back says something about the overall state of the game, and why I still feel WoW is still just Waiting on Warhammer.
Well that said by you guys, maybe this is all a bait, to hook us back.
But when 2.3 comes out (which I do not know when it will be so), I'm thinking of coming back for just 1 month, and check out the new life to ret. But then again, I got nothing to do in the game...
PvP (i'll pass, gets boring after a few days), PvE raids (not really interested, no time). Nothing else really to do except to gank?
Well, my head is in a 3 sided discussion now, whether to pop back in for 1 month or not.

On to Warhammer I guess, wonders when will it be out... Jan 08? Or maybe Feb 08 or March 08? Or will there be a delay.. no comments from here.
But I'm quite looking forward to the payment mode[s] available for WAR.
