This Is What Happens When a Holy Paladin...

... plays a Warrior Priest at a games day.

Video linkage!

To be clear, I don't know who was playing the WP, but from the looks of things he was either:
  1. Used to playing a healbot and nothing but.
  2. A total n00b when it comes to PvP.
  3. Both of the above.
Everything looks so slow-paced in the RvR shown. Compared to the other videos highlighted on the Warhammer Alliance main page, the WP shown in this video does comparably poor damage. Then again, he was focusing on healing and probably specced accordingly. The game still looks pretty rough around the edges, particularly with regard to visual diversity within classes and movement flow of the character models.

What are your thoughts?

He was obviously healing-specced. BUT he had some nice damage spikes in the vid.

beta has still only really begun, all the races aren't even implemented yet so I wouldn't expect perfection quite yet.

He was the only healing class in the party. Ofc he healed.

Deliberate troll, or part of the problem?

I haven't seen this video (keep forgetting to look at it when I'm not behind my work firewall >.<) but I would guess that the person in it was not necessarily a holy paladin, but someone who wasn't fully in-the-know about how "healing" in WAR works and heard "Hey this is a healing class", so they went by what they knew healers did in MMOs and tried to heal by not doing DPS. As we know, this isn't the way WAR works, so obviously said person failed. If you got someone who actually understood how the system works, it probably would go better, Holy Paladin or otherwise.
